All AirPods that support spatial audio work with HeadHigh. Currently this includes AirPods Pro (1st and 2nd generation), AirPods Max, AirPods (3rd generation), Beats Fit Pro, Beats Studio Pro, and Beats Solo 4.
HeadHigh is designed to be energy-efficient and should not significantly impact the battery life of your AirPods or other compatible headphones. The app should not cause a noticeable decrease in battery life beyond regular spatial audio usage. If you notice a significant decrease in battery life while using HeadHigh, please contact us through the support section of the app.
No, HeadHigh requires AirPods with spatial audio to function. The app utilizes the sensors in the AirPods to track your head movements. Without AirPods, the app cannot track your head movements and will not operate correctly.
You can pause HeadHigh's tracking at any time by tapping the pause button in the app. This will stop the app from tracking your head movements until you tap the resume button. Alternatively, you can pause tracking by removing one or both AirPods from your ears. When you put the AirPods back in, tracking will automatically resume.
No, HeadHigh is currently available only on iOS and iPadOS devices. However, we are developing a macOS version of HeadHigh that will be released in the future. Stay tuned for updates on our website and social media channels. Subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know when the macOS version is available.
No, HeadHigh uses the sensors specifically found in Apple and Beats headphones to track head movements. Other headphones lack the necessary sensors and integration with iOS to work with HeadHigh. The app will not function correctly with non-Apple/Beats headphones.
